Author Guidelines
1. About the Journal
The Journal of Public Health and Clinical Medicine (JPHCM) is an international, peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes high-quality research at the intersection of public health, clinical medicine, and health systems. The journal promotes evidence-based practice, innovative healthcare solutions, and policy-relevant research.
All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted
JPHCM accepts the following categories:
· Original Research Articles
· Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses
· Short Communications
· Case Reports
· Policy Analyses / Perspectives
· Editorials and Commentaries
3. Manuscript Preparation
3.1 Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear, professional English. Authors are responsible for grammar, spelling, and scientific clarity.
3.2 General Formatting
· File format: LaTex (OR) Word
Authors may submit manuscripts in any format (PDF or Word) for the purpose of initial peer review.
After acceptance, the final version must be provided in an editable format using LaTeX or Microsoft Word
3.3 Structure of the Manuscript
Title Page
· Full article title (concise and informative)
· Author names and affiliations
· Corresponding author details (email)
· ORCID iD (if available)
Abstract
· Maximum 250 words
· Structured format for research articles:
Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion
· 4–6 keywords below the abstract
Main Text
For research articles, organize as:
1. Introduction
2. Methods
3. Results
4. Discussion
5. Conclusion
Other article types may use appropriate headings.
Acknowledgements (if applicable)
Funding Statement
State funding sources or declare: “No external funding was received.”
Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts or state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
References
4. References Style
· Use Vancouver (numbered) style.
· Citations in text should appear as: [1], [2–4].
· Reference list should be numbered in order of appearance.

5. Tables and Figures
· Tables and figures must be cited in the text.
· Provide clear titles and legends.
· Submit figures in high-resolution (JPEG/PNG/TIFF, minimum 300 dpi).
· Do not duplicate data in both tables and figures.
6. Ethical Requirements
6.1 Human Subjects
· Manuscripts involving human participants must include:
o Institutional Ethics Committee approval
o Informed consent statement
· Clinical trials should follow CONSORT guidelines.
6.2 Animal Studies
· Must comply with institutional and international ethical standards.
6.3 Plagiarism
· All submissions are screened for plagiarism.
· Manuscripts with excessive similarity or unethical practices will be rejected.
7. Reporting Guidelines
Authors are encouraged to follow established standards:
· CONSORT – Clinical Trials
· STROBE – Observational Studies
· PRISMA – Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses
· CARE – Case Reports
8. Submission Process
1. Register or log in to the journal’s online submission system.
2. Upload:
o Manuscript file
o Cover letter
o Figures/Tables (if needed)
3. Confirm ethical compliance and conflict of interest.
Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere.
9. Peer Review Policy
· JPHCM follows a single-blind peer-review process.
· Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts.
· Editorial decisions: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject.
10. Open Access & Copyright
· All published articles are open access.
· Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.
· Articles may be distributed with proper citation.
